i'm going to going to try to navigate through a messy church split. the goal will be to placate a faction who feels alienated by the style of music the worship team employs. i will skillfully create a gen-x evening service, while subtly shifting the AM service to blended worship...uptempo hymns played with piano and guitar. then, i will write a book called, "worship: for everyone" and go on an international speaking tour, all the while humbly downplaying my rockstar status in evangelical-dom. finally, i will market the book into a curriculum your church can buy and implement on its own...or with my expert consultation. then i will retire to colorado springs.
